Plants and gardens have been my lifelong passion. Born into a family of professional horticulturalists, I have been very much involved in growing plants from an early age. I went on to study horticulture at the University of Nottingham and, aged 21, was awarded the Institute of Horticulture’s Aberconway Medal which I received from the late Lord Aberconwy at Kew Gardens.
Having continued to expand the garden nursery established by my grandfather in 1934, I have over 35 years experience of working with plants. Advising customers about plants and helping them to plan their gardens has always been a large part of my work and, due to demand for actual garden visits, decided to set up my garden design/ consultancy service.
I currently live and work in the Wilmslow area and can offer garden consultancy or transformation work nationwide.
The majority of my work to date has been throughout the Cheshire and South Manchester areas, in particular Alderley Edge, Prestbury, Altrincham, Knutsford, Didsbury, Cheadle Hulme and Wilmslow.
Whatever space you have, be it small or large, I would love to help you to achieve the garden of your dreams.
